Description of problem:
This case study is about whether or
not the Lower Snake River Dams in Eastern Washington should be destroyed. The reasons
for destroying the dams are they are killing fish such as salmon which is a good source of food for townspeople
and the Walla Walla and Umatilla Indians. The reasons for keeping the dams
pare because towns get irrigation with the help of dams, they help wheat barge businesses, and they are needed
for electrical plants, boat ramps, and Army Corps. It is
up to Congress to decide if the dams should be destroyed or not.
